Thursday, November 27th – Galveston – American Thanksgiving

With most of the stores and tourist items being closed today our choice of things to do was limited.  Diane had noticed three pyramids on our way into town, which turned out to be an aquarium, Tropical Forest, and bird sanctuary.  We looked on line and found it to be open – yea!!  Off we went to spend most of the day, unfortunately when we arrived we found the prices to be very expensive.

We then decided to go visit the downtown historical section of Galveston.  The buildings were very old and the architecture very unique.  We spent a couple of hours walking around town, going into the few shops that were open and taking pictures.
